Incorporating a built-in tracking guide that enables accurate rip cuts, the ExacTrack returns to its standard position for cross-cuts and other cutting operations. The saw's maximum depth of cut is 2 in. and bevel capacity is up to 50 degrees. Circle 34 on inquiry card Sharpener for dull drill bits The DRILL DOCTOR 750X offers an alternative to tossing aside dull drill bits by providing the capability to reuse the same bit. A fit for sharpening carbide, cobalt, high-speed steel, black oxide, TIN-coated, twist and masonry bits, the drill-bit sharpen- er reduces jobsite waste by restoring dull drill bits from 3 ⁄32 to ¾ in. Custom point angles can be set anywhere from 115 to 140 degrees, and an adjustable material take-off allows users to modify the amount of material removed during the sharpening. Circle 31 on inquiry card Dust extractors with Bluetooth battery pack FESTOOL launches its newest CT Dust Extractors with a smooth suction hose and optional Bluetooth modules and remote controllers that can start a dust extractor remotely and/or by communicating directly with the battery packs to start an extractor automatically when a cordless tool starts. The Bluetooth 18V lithium-ion battery packs communicate with the Bluetooth module on mobile dust extractors, and charge using the SCA 8 AIRSTREAM rapid charger. The CT 26, CT 36, CT 36 AC and CT 48 dust extractors can be retrofit with Bluetooth modules and remote starters. Circle 33 on inquiry card One-handed operation of inflatable air wedge CALCULATED INDUSTRIES AirSHIM is an inflatable pry bar and leveling tool that enables a user to move, adjust or support objects up to 300 lbs. by themselves. Replacing pry bars, wooden shims and other lifting or adjusting tools, the contractor-grade inflatable air wedge offers one-handed operation using a squeeze bulb pump and precise bleeder valve. Its design enables the wedge to span a gap from 3 ⁄32 to 2 ½ in., and an inter- nal "stiffener" limits folding so it can be inserted into tight spaces. Circle 32 on inquiry card Floor-covering remover The FCS18 RIP-R-STRIPPER from GENERAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY is a self-propelled floor-covering removal machine that takes much of the work out of removing VCT tiles, rubber-backed carpeting and other sheet-type coverings from concrete surfaces. Compared with man- ually propelled machines, the self-propelled stripper eliminates back-and- forth movement while helping provide a more consistent force to the work surface, thus a user can focus simply on steering. A four-bolt blade clamping system prevents unwanted flooring materials from building up under the blade clamp. Circle 30 on inquiry card PRODUCTS 58 May 2018 QR QualifiedRemodeler.com Tools
