tongue-and-groove ceiling for outdoor areas, Versatex Building Products offers
its Canvas Series as a solution. It combines the beauty of black cherry, walnut
or tropical macore with the technical advantages of PVC exterior trim. After
three years of research and development, Versatex's Canvas Series presents a
straight, knot-free material in uniform lengths for achieving the character of
hardwood tongue-and-groove porch ceilings without the maintenance. While
engineered specifically for ceilings and other applications with minimal UV
exposure, the series can also be used as wainscoting and other interior applica-
tions where moisture resistance is critical. e selection of wood tones—black

e initial Canvas Series release conforms to the familiar Versatex WP4
tongue-and-groove profile with wood-grain laminates bonded to moisture-re-
sistant cellular PVC. Offered in 18-foot lengths, the WP4 profile measures
¾ inch thick and spans up to 24 inches on center. A matching 4-inch crown
moulding is available in 16-foot lengths, and the system includes a col-
or-matched touchup kit for use on butt joints or any fastener marks.
