KEY INTERACTION
Other manufacturers have been working
with remodelers more than ever as the mar-
ket continues to grow more quickly than new
construction. Companies need contractors in
order to sell products and install them for
the end user—homeowners—so remodelers
should take the opportunity to learn more
about design considerations and performance
specifications to boost their own bottom line.
"Homeowners continue to be more in-
volved in their buying decisions, in large part
due to [the] availability of information online
and social communities," Marvin's Hanson
says. "To keep up with changing trends and to
answer questions homeowners may have about
reviews they read online—or why they should
choose one window over another—remodelers
must be equipped with solid and comprehen-
sive information from manufacturers."
