Titebond Fast Set Gets the Job Done WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO FIND OUT WHAT CONTRACTORS WANT IN A CONSTRUCTION ADHESIVE? ASK THEM. TITEBOND DID – and factored in the feed- back in the development of a new product that is gaining interest and acceptance in the remodeling industry. Titebond Fast Set Construction Adhesive gives remodelers and contractors a fast-setting adhesive that bonds just about anything on the job site – includ- ing frozen and treated lumber. Fast Set helps contractors get the job done sooner, period. Once applied, it begins to build strength very rapidly, typically within 20 minutes. (Users have approximately one hour of working time to reposition glued materials as needed, without compromising the strength of the final bond.) Quick set time enables the contractor to move on to the next step of a project more quickly – as soon as the next morning. Contractors need the convenience and value of a construction adhesive they can use across the job site. Fast Set bonds just about any construction material, ranging from masonry to foamboard, plywood to treated lumber, concrete to metal. It also stands out within its category for its ability to bond two non-porous substrates together – such as metal to metal or to plastic. Contractors are on the job site in all kinds of weather conditions, and Fast Set works right alongside them. It extrudes in tempera- tures down to 32°F (0°C) and bonds even wet and frozen materials. With Fast Set in their trucks, crews can work outside on a damp spring or cold winter day to install masonry veneer, paver caps, concrete wall caps and more. Fast Set helps contractors stay on schedule and handle more projects over time. As most users of polyurethane construc- tion adhesives understand and appreciate, adhesive that continues to extrude or run on from the cartridge in the moments follow- ing application can be messy and wasteful. It's a time consuming hassle to clean up, and users must set the cartridge and cartridge gun somewhere safe between applications to eliminate risk of damage to materials. Further, drool is a waste of adhesive – and money. Contractors simply put up with the drooling because they had no choice but to do so. Until now. Knowing how much contractors detest the drooling adhesive cartridge, Titebond addressed the problem with Fast Set, as it doesn't drool or result in "after flow", as many other construction adhesives on the market (especially polyurethanes) typically exhibit. This unique product feature gives Fast Set a big competitive advantage in the market- place. Now contractors will save money and time with less mess and wasteful product with Fast Set. www.titebond.com A D V E R T O R I A L PRODUCT FOCUS For more info circle 65
