Square footage: 200 Project cost: $112,500 T he Glickman Design Build team had one month to complete the renovation of this 18th foor condo for a client with ALS. Te homeowners were away for the duration of the project, but returned to fnd a beautiful, accessible bathroom. With such a restricted time frame, materials were selected for appearance and with consideration to availability. Design options for the condo's bathroom were limited and involved relocating some existing items while completely removing others. An existing medicine cabinet, vanity base cabinets and sink were relocated within the space while a built-in cabinet and shelves, electrical work, toilet, sink and new tile were added. Wood framed partitions were built for an accessible shower, and a Schluter membrane system was added to the walls and foor of the shower.
