ith most of the interior
a lready renovated,
homeowners in Sea
Girt, N.J., turned their
focus to the exterior, which had its
original aluminum siding from the
1960s. Te project included a redesign
and renovation of an existing
entrance vestibule, and the
installation of new vinyl sid-
ing, roofng and exterior trim
work. Due to very restrictive
zoning requirements — such
as a front yard setback that
could not be built into — the
remodeled entrance vestibule
was required to ft on the ex-
act footprint of the existing
vestibule, which made creating the
architectural statement the homeown-
ers were seeking a challenge. Te team
created a contemporary entrance ves-
tibule with a stark white exterior for
contrast against the much darker sid-
ing on the rest of the home yet still
complemented the 1920s farmhouse
style home.
