ather than look back to a time when little distinction was made between builders and remodelers, a time when new-home construction soared like a tech-stock, a time when remodeling and home improvement professionals navigated management and business pitfalls solo, and a time without business-media options for remodelers — a look forward seems appropriate. Twenty-eight thought leaders penned their ideas of what the next 40 may hold. Each were asked to submit "the one idea, innovation or market force" with the greatest impact on remodelers in coming years. More importantly, where are we headed? We ofer ideas from industry thought leaders, in their own words.
