Bosch Home Appliances in distribution partnership with The Home Depot Bosch Home Appliances, part of BSH Home Appliances Corp., is expanding its distribution network through a partner- ship with The Home Depot. The part- nership expands the Bosch distribution network throughout the U.S., bringing Bosch home appliances to one of the nation's most recognized retailers. Demand for aluminum gutters and downspouts to reach $4 billion Demand in value terms for aluminum gutters and downspouts is projected to increase 3.4 percent annually to $4 billion in 2022, driven by ongoing growth in the large residential improvement and repair market. Growth will also be supported in the short term by price in- creases implemented in response to the Trump administration's aluminum tariffs. Specifically, it supports endeavors that include: - Connected Ecosystems: seeking op- portunities to replace, enable or create processes that will streamline and strengthen value chains across the industry. - Digital Experiences: creating a best-in-class customer ex- perience with industry lead- ing content. - Emerging Technology: exploring and leveraging technologies to enhance customer and associate experienc- es through augmented/ virtual real- ity, Internet of Things Sales of all types of outdoor kitch- en equipment are forecast to grow 6.2 percent annually to $735 million in 2022. The number of households with an outdoor kitchen is expected to rise 4.7 percent per year to 3.9 million in 2022. "The Great Recession prompted new growth in the outdoor kitchen market by encouraging 'staycations' in the backyard instead of vacation travel. The continued development of mass-market products (e.g., more basic islands and appliances, modular island and fixture systems) is expanding the consumer base, which historically com- prised only upper-class households, by reducing purchase and installation costs," notes a press release about the report from Freedonia. " High-end add-ons and upgrades (e.g., specialty grills, food-grade refrigerators, keger- ators) are increasingly used to enhance existing outdoor kitchens."
