Maintaining the original home remained important to the clients—and the community. e project entailed a remodel of the existing 5,886-square-foot house, six full-room additions, a pool house and a new four-car garage while maintaining the historic nature and setting of the old structures. Keeping the appearance of a working farm complex proved vital to the footprint and scale of the plan, which purposely designed new exterior details to look like additions over time.
