Custom metal range hoods made accessible The Artisan Cast Range Hood line from BROOKS CUSTOM aims to make custom metal range hoods more accessible with a lower price point and six-week production lead time. Any size or style can be achieved, plus hoods can be outfitted with high-quality strap- ping and real metal rivet details. Eight metals are available—stainless steel, zinc, pewter, copper, bronze, brass, nickel and aluminum— and hoods can be made in matte or patina fin- ish metal. Featuring a colorful LCD touch screen that learns, adapts and suggests customized presets based on routines, the range can be started remotely using Wi-Fi and the Whirlpool mobile app. The app can also scan the UPC barcode on select frozen food packages, and Scan-to-Cook technology will send directions, temperature and cooking times to the appliance.
