SIPs have higher R-values Premier SIPs by INSULFOAM releases Premier Platinum struc- tural insulated panels that offer 20 percent higher R-values than traditional SIPs. With the company's Platinum graphite polystyrene insulation — made from BASF's Neopor — providing the core for the OSB, an integrated high-purity graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror and increase the material's resistance to the flow of heat.
