ersonalization is not a new trend
to the remodeling world, but more
and more consumers are beginning
to expect the opportunity. And
door manufacturers are ready and able to
deliver that customizable experience without
compromising on quality.
"Homeowners are looking for ways to per-
sonalize their living spaces. ey want to create
a truly customized, unique feel that represents
their personality and lifestyle. Windows and
doors are a great way to reflect personal style
in any room in a way that is both functional
and stylish," says Jim Flickinger, director of
interior doors at Jeld-Wen. "In addition, op-
tional features like louvers, mirrors or glass
inserts can incorporate a chic touch while
chalkboard and dry erase panels introduce
more functionality into a space."
Jeld-Wen recently released its line of Tria
composite doors, which include nearly 250
style options within three design lines to
provide myriad interior door options. e
company also sees barn doors as a hot trend
within interior spaces, Flickinger explains, so
the company has introduced the IWP custom
wood barn door and is seeing it used for di-
viding rooms and creating privacy in addition
to concealing storage or media equipment.
