Bluetooth lighting control LEVITON announces its Decora Digital Controls with Bluetooth technology, providing the ability to dim and time lighting without the need of a hub, gateway or Internet connection. Users pair the device with the Leviton Decora Digital Dimmer and App on Apple or Android smart- phones, and use on-screen menu options. The controls are available in dimmer and switch mod- els. The dimmer and switch can program timed events at set or random times for daily activities or for a lived-in look while occupants are away. Circle 35 on inquiry card Chef Connect cooking appliances GE has launched a range lineup and an over- the-range microwave in its Profile brand that can sync up with one another via its Chef Connect and Bluetooth technology. The connected pair works together to provide three options. When the range's burner is turned on, the lights from the microwave will automatically turn on. Clocks on both applianc- es will sync for convenience. In addition, the vent fan can be set to turn on automatically when the range is turned on.
