Module presents more than 1,200 design combinations Available for iPad through the Apple iTunes Store, the TREX Visualizer app includes a Railing Confgurator module that allows users to virtually mix and match posts, caps, rails and balusters to create more than 1,200 potential design combinations. Users can explore deck design and color options, modular rail- ing options, and the company's lighting can virtually be added to rails and post caps. Through the Railing Confgurator, a list of components used in the fnal- ized, personalized railing is provided to make purchase easier. Circle 214 on inquiry card Save, share designs within app TIMBERTECH's 3-D Deck and Rail app allows users to visualize deck and rail choices in the yard space they'll be utilizing using a "visualization marker." Currently available on iOS with an Android version coming later this spring, the app customizes designs using the company's decking and railing products, switching colors and diferent baluster in-fll options; users can even visualize diferent styles of furniture with their deck and rail options. This free interface shows customers the diferent and most current design possibilities, including deckboard, post and railing colors, as well as baluster and accent options. Circle 215 on inquiry card Now available for Androids AZEK launches its AZEK app on Google's Android Platform to help re-imagine home and outdoor living spaces in 3-D Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality views. Previously available for Apple products, the free app, developed by Marxent Labs, allows users to see the company's deck, rail and siding products on a home. A "visu- alization marker" can be downloaded from the website, scanned with the app, then, once the space has been customized in the app, users can "see" how decking and railing would actually look with their home . Circle 217 on inquiry card Design tool includes specification kit MOISTURESHIELD ofers its DeckLife deck design tool to show how a deck with the company's composite decking and railing materials will look, including real-time changes. At any point, users can view detailed composite decking material and cut lists, beam layouts and stress analysis re- ports for the project. A "Deck Designer Specifcation Kit" can be printed upon design completion, which includes a deck layout diagram, installation tips and all other reports. Circle 219 on inquiry card Visualizer provides full report from designs The DECKORATORS Deck Visualizer is usable on virtually any computer and provides access to the complete lineup of products. Available through the company's website in mid-April, users select backdrops for a deck, add furniture and upload a picture of a home for reference. Design capabili- ties can be utilized. A full report of the design, including installation tips and a complete job ma- terials list, can be pulled from the visualizer. The visualizer is available in English and French, and will be available for mobile and tablet use shortly after introduction.
