Two table models are available. Te DELO peninsula table is a 5-ft.-long countertop designed to accommodate up to fve people, and it pulls out 63 in. from the side of a kitchen island. The following product received the most reader inquiries in the May issue of Qualifed Remodeler : EASYHEAT Tin mats from EasyHeat allow for the installation of warm foors and, at less than 1 in. thick, signifcantly reduce the impact on foor height. Designed for fne residential and commercial fooring, Warm Tiles Elite mats comprise heating cable interwoven into slim, durable fabric. Available in standard rectangular sizes and made-to-order custom layouts, the mat can safely be installed under ceramic, porcelain, terrazzo, glass mosaic, marble, engineered wood, laminated foors, and natural stone and agglomerates. Mats come in 120 or 240 volts with up to 15 watts per square foot of power output to quickly and efciently heat the foor. Te mats are UL and CSA approved to ensure their safe use in shower foors, steam rooms, saunas and other wet areas. Although many foor warming systems are time-consuming to install, the Warm Tiles Elite mats remedy that by implementing a three-step installation process that can be completed in one day. First, a thin layer of mortar is applied to any standard under-fooring. Second, mats are laid into place. Finally, the mats are covered with mortar and the fooring surface is installed directly on top so there is no need to wait for the mortar to dry. All accessories needed for installation are provided, including programmable and nonprogrammable thermostats, relay kits and Detecto fault indicators.
