Exterior Wood Doors
Masonite���s Lemieux Torrefied Collection of
premium exterior wood doors undergo a
protective torrefaction process, where the
wood is heated over time to eliminate its
tendency to rot. Torrefaction makes the wood
more structurally stable and resistant to heat,
cold and moisture. The collection is available
in each of Lemieux���s 10,000 residential entry
door design options and custom designs in
minimum 4-ft. widths and 8-ft. heights.
Woods include Douglas fir, Brazilian
mahogany, Appalachian poplar and aspen.
Each door has matching exterior door jambs,
brick moulding and T-astragals.

Solar-powered Skylight
Velux America has introduced the Solar
Powered Fresh Air Skylight with a solar panel
that captures available daylight to charge a
fully concealed operator and control system.
The remote controlled venting skylight
requires no wiring. It works on cloudy days
and in indirect light and includes an
integrated rain sensor to automatically close
the skylight in inclement weather. The
product and installation qualify for a 30
percent federal tax credit. The unit uses Low
E3 glass, and eight factory-installed blinds
are available.

New Slate Colors
BCI Acrylic Bath Systems has added two
slate colors to its products. CanyonSlate and
RosaSlate are for use in smooth and patterned
wall surrounds, as well as decorative trim. This

In-door Storage
ODL Inc. has released its On Hand In-door
Storage and Communication system. The
system offers storage on one side and
decoration and communication opportunities
on the other. Built into an interior door, the
storage side has adjustable shelving and is
reversible. The glass marker board on the
other side has a removable white deco board
that can be personalized and used as a
marker board using dry-erase markers.

Sensate Kitchen Faucet
The Sensate kitchen faucet from Kohler uses
touchless technology to turn the faucet on
and off by waving a hand, kitchen utensil or
pot near the sensor. The industrial-grade
sensor scans 200 times per second to provide
consistent on/off operation. The sensor
window begins at the underside of the spout
and extends 8 in. to the base of the faucet.
